Fall 2020 Programs

  • Our weekly storytimes continue virtually. Join us online at Facebook or Instagram on Wednesdays at 10:30am.
  • We're also hosting mini-Craft Times on Thursdays at 10:45am. Videos available on Facebook or Instagram.
  • Our Marfa Public Library Book Club, hosted by Lena Spurgin of Spurgin Stationers, is currently reading Punching the Air by Ibi Zoboi and Yusef Salaam (for YA) and Mexican Gothic by Silvia Moreno-Garcia (for adults). Our discussions will take place October 27 and October 28 at 6:30pm, respectively; email programming@marfapubliclibrary.org to get the Zoom link.
  • Although we can't host our traditional Halloween party, we are still having a virtual costume contest! Stop by the library on October 31 (4:30-7:30pm)  to have your photo taken, see a Flying Ford Anglia, get a treat bag, and meet Rubeus Hagrid. All ages welcome. Masks required; social distancing will be strictly enforced. You can also  email your costume photo to us at marfalibrarystaff@gmail.com; be sure to include your name and what you're dressed as. We will post all submitted photos to our Facebook and Instagram pages.

Note: Our Kinder Readiness program is on hold while we are closed to the public. We'll resume the program online later this year.
